Who is responsible for the US Debt...GOP or Dems?
OK. Let's whip out the facts for all to see. I went to the US Treasury's website to look up debt by President:
treasurydirect.gov

Keep in mind that the President presents his budget to Congress, then Congress legislates the budget, and the President signs the budget into law each year. So it is fair to say the President has the final say and ownership of his annual budget and the resulting deficits and debt. Below are the facts using the US Treasury's data. Note that the GOP has been responsible for 75% of US debt as of today.
