a buck is pretty good news! SCP paid $3.5m + 26.5m in the private placement plus 13.65m SCP shares ... works out to about 43 cents per OIP

based on owning 230m OIP shares, each dime change in OIP increases SCP NAV by $23m. and since SCP now has about 95m shares outstanding (85 previous + 14 issued in this orion deal), that's equal to 24 cents of SCP NAV

bottom line: todays 60 cent OIP change is worth about 1.44 NAV increase to SCP

that presentation assumed a november $100m OIT offering at $5 (subsequently they put out a revised version of the document showing it done at $4) but neither event actually happened. i'm drawing my current numbers from todays SCP press release:

As a result of the Amalgamation and a subsequent shareconsolidation, SRC now owns 229,334,351 Orion common shares out of289,521,766outstanding Orion common shares (78.98%).
finance.yahoo.com

now 229m shares at $1.80 = $412m and that alone equals $4.33 value per SCP share !

now the argument why SCP didn't move as much today will be that it's just too rich a valuation of OIT, and there has been too little trading volume to be confident in the valuation ... but assuming this OIT stock price stick around here for little bit you will see SCP easily move to $6 and beyond .... and that will happen sooner or later if natgas prices stick here and this OIT management team delivers the results as expected.

enjoy the ride ;-
