Wind farms produced 'practically no electricity' during Britain's cold snap

I see hundreds of these things when I drive down the Columbia River. Only a quarter or so of them are rotating. Not to mention that when they do rotate the water in the Columbia behind the dams has to be wasted because the supply has to equal demand, and wind power is ephemeral.

In a sense, water behind dams is a non-renewable resource. Once wasted, it is gone and never returns. Of course, there will always be water.

There isn't always wind.
