To say Buddy is smug would be an understatement. To accuse him of being opprobrious might be an overstatement.

Re: "Now you claim RCP is your go to poll tool."

All I can tell 'ya is that I've been posting the RCP poll averages page here for *years*.

Dozens and dozens of times. Over and over again.

Gotten into plenty of disagreements with people here who sometimes don't seem to 'like' the methodology that RCP uses (which is to only run with the big pollsters, and utilize a rolling-average so that older polls drop out of the calculations on a regular and dependable basis), but I'm a fan.

I also like the way that they CHART those averaged numbers ('cause visually presenting the results in a chart makes spotting the trend so much easier).

I have only one quibble with that RCP poll page: they seem to have most of the big poll averages ('Obama popularity', 'Direction of Country', 'Congressional Popularity', etc.) displayed on charts which accompany each poll category... EXCEPT FOR ONE.

For some odd reason I have never seen them put up a chart for the results of the Democrat vs. Republican popularity poll averages. (Why? I haven't a clue, 'cause in all other respects the results for that poll category are displayed exactly like all the other big categories....)
