The power elite are in charge and that is why Sarah Palin has become the power player we now see...IMO. Watched 60 minutes the other night. They said that Sarah Palin was a last-minute choice when it was discovered that Joe Lieberman wasn't going to fly with the conservative base. Sarah definitely delivered that, but she wasn't up to being VP. But it's clear that McCain's "power elite" were attempting to cater to an important segment of the voter base. And that's how it SHOULD BE. The power elite should NEVER forget that it's the American Voter that PERMITS them to represent them. What we need is a bit more of that around the world... ;0) Hawk
