I agree with you about Reid. Spin it any way you want & at best, you still have a clear case of racial insensitivity. As for Lott; he should have thought about how others would interpret his words [given Thurmond's past] before he spoke them. That was stupid on his part. Remember, we live in an unfair world with the huge Dem double standards overtly supported by the MSM's. Fair or not it is what it is. It doesn't matter how much Lott, you or I bitch about it, the double standard & the MSM megaphone will see to it the public hears all about the LWE spin as if it were fact. And real damage will be done. Until that changes you've got to play the hand you are dealt or lose every time you open your yap.
