Let's see...a positive news release, Dow up over 200 points, AXC up zero. As I see it, nobody wants this stock on the street and I think a lot of us are fooling ourselves thinking otherwise!

Good job of PR ?? Really ?? Good PR is proactive and I don't think that much before today's release can be seen as proactive. They have not done a good job at selling themselves or their products, and have not done much in this area to bring value to the shareholder. Face it; Ampex's PR has sucked for the lack of a better term! You can have the worlds most "untouchable technology", but if you don't promote and market it, it won,t matter where it counts more, the bottom line.

Hopefully, the employment of Daly-Swartz will not be a one-time deal but a long term committment on the part of Ampex to do what they should have been doing all along. I am not going to read too much more into this one release, but will wait and pass judgement too see if they follow through accordingly.
