"Ted, any good parent will turn their kids away from public displays of nudity. That's basic parenting."

Nudists would totally disagree. Even conservative nudists. What does a DINK know about parenting anyway?

Ted, any good parent will turn their kids away from public displays of nudity. That's basic parenting.

If you want to raise your own kids in a more "liberal" fashion, be my guest, but recognize that you would be outside of the norm in this society.

I am not surprised at your upset over nudity. And while I have been to nude beaches in Europe, its not something I actively seek out. However, I would never make my kids turn away from nudists that suddenly appeared on bikes. That is sending the worst possible message about the human body to a kid. I would just laugh it off and walk on. What that mother did was harming her kids, not protecting them. Its psychology 101.
