It makes good comedy for the sub-intelligent, but basically, Rudy is right -- GWB kept the country safe while there have been multiple attacks that appear to be a result of Obama's policy. The 9/11 attack was not a product of Bush policy. The fact that there were no attacks after 9/11 clearly WAS a result of Bush policy. And the fact there have been multiple attacks since Jan '09 is clearly a result of Obama policy. Rudy, like most of us, is simply assenting to the idea that everyone believed America was safe from attack until 9/11. Which is the reason I don't bash Clinton about it even though it was his failure. NOBODY could have predicted it.

The timing of the launch of the “African Americans for Harry Reid” campaign group, which is scheduled for Thursday in Las Vegas, is coincidental. The luncheon had been scheduled for weeks. Reid has apologized for remarks he made in 2008 that described Obama as “”light skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” The comments were reported in a new book titled, “Game Changer.” Despite the controversy playing out in the national media, Democratic political strategist Donna Brazile is scheduled to headline the group’s launch event in Nevada.
