Correct. Tenchu has a point that we can't rely totally on solar, but I don't know of anyone advocating that. It should be part of the mix like wind. Biofuels if we can effectively solve the problem of getting alcohol from cellulose. Nuclear breeders, although we will have to change some laws to enable that. Or that proposal to use less than breakeven fusion to generate neutrons to breed fissiles suitable for reactors. Maybe Polywell will pay off or some of the other fusion alternatives.

The status quo, though, needs to be changed.
