Mohan - Re: "I think you should pay the boy a bigger allowance, I think he deserves it."

I was thinking that his allowance must be TOO BIG if he thinks he can afford to buy me a Pentium II.

Let me expand upon his recognition of the Pentium II - this comes from the much criticized Intel commercials with the Pentium II Van and dancing Bunny Suits.

My impression is that these commercials are beginning to have their desired effect - Bringing the Pentium II Brand name into the forefront of people's conciousness and connecting Pentium II to the colorful, music-laden image of what Multi-Media is all about.

Let's all remember - Intel wants the Pentium II to be the processor of choice for MMX and not the Pentium MMX.

They may be starting to get that message across to some of the consumers in the marketplace.

The business marketplace is a separate issue - and Intel targets that on pure performance.
