Steve, I only bought ONE PC for the kid in the last 3.5 years. It
still has the DX-480/50 inside it, running win3.1. It's a packard
bell and it is still running. No need to "upgrade" to win95 (can't)
unless upgrade this and upgrade that. I don't know about their
'simulation/research' strength either.

The kids think it is out of date (not keeping up with the games), so
they get nintendo 64 instead. Hooked it up to the 32 inches TV works
great. I do need to buy a new PC now, unfortunately due to these
MSFT constant upgrade cycles. Will hold until win98(?)

I'm glad I was not 'upgrade happy', well I can't afford and don't
see the value of those rapid upgrade cycles. Of course, my world
is much smaller than yours.
