Don--as an unhappy SPX put holder, I hope you're right n your pullback scenario. Today has been strangely insistent. Dow 7600 has already been tested once as resistance, and twice as support--just today. It's looking distressingly like a floor, but we need more time to see. Good luck,

-- Brad

Donald, if I wore a hat it would be off to you. Congrats to you for reading the market correctly. I guess we could call today's 232 pt gain on the DJIA "revenge of the bulls". I'm wondering if there was more than a little short covering going on also. Nevertheless, it would seem that we can't keep up 232 pt increases on a daily ongoing basis (tongue in cheek). It seems incredible that in 5 trading days we would wipe out that frightening 554 pt drop last Monday, but that's indeed what has taken place.

As Alice might say, this market is getting "Curiouser and curiouser".

Donald, thanks for your updates.
one question though: If the indicators are oversold now, will they be that still at the start of tomorrow morning? Do you recalculate a new
set based on the previous days data?
Or was that an intra-day re-evaluation which should apply for tomorrow??

I like the thoughts about what should happen if the MMs decide they
have to jump on anyway. Reading some other posts it seems they are trying to get the market back down without much success.
CNBC their main tool for manipulation. I guess with the tax-loss/financial year end selling over for some funds they may have used up most of their powder to sell it down.

We'll see tomorrow. Thanks for keeping us posted.

PS: do you have a technical picture about CSCO after earnings?
Would you hold Jan Calls or sell?
