My guess is you're not doing the currency conversions.
My numbers at today's close are almost identical to Robert's. I have you up $7,924 and Robert up $8,819.
For my 12/31/09 Euro conversion, I used $1.4326 to convert your European biotechs and I used quotes from the exchange where the particular stock seemed like it is most actively traded.
