GASS. Yeah, I have difficulty understanding some of the numbers they report. Dealing with averages is dangerous. -g-

They say their fleet average is 10.3 yrs. vs. industry average of 19.4 years.

As I look further,I see I have a lot more to learn. Like maybe LPG is not the same as LNG. Aieeee.

Anyway, one thing I do like is that MAYBE there won't be a surplus of LPG ships coming on line: (p 17 of the presentation):

And for another, p/stated bv is low compared to several other shipping companies: (p. 18 of above presentation)

OT: Again for my second year, I'll try once more to open short positions. Not for much money, but at least to see some green when there might be so much red.

On my watch list are CMG (Wow- Chipotle at a new high now & at a forward p/e of 24- and at which level I still have no nerve to short), IT and ANF. If ANF will close in on 40 again on no positive news, I intend to act.

Perhaps another offset play would be a buy of LPS, which apparently "stands to benefit from the ongoing crisis in the U.S. mortgage market". Anializer, you asked about this stock on a popular SI board and got zero response. That's a positive signal for me to at least check further.

In LPS now for a small position. With this one, if stock rises, I may average up. If stock falls, I likely will not add to position.
