I hope the talk of machete wielders is msm hyperbole. there was also recently a scene of people walking through a street together singing in thanks and in the gathering of strength.

In terms of being able to access whatever water and food is available, that could, of course, lead to danger, but the people providing surely have experience in that.

The scenes of people digging loved ones and strangers out of rubble and helping each other I hope is the continuing main story of it all.

That is my fear as well...you really hate to have our Military used in such a way that they are sitting ducks for some of the thugs that have lived there for decades, and caused the rest of the citizens of Haiti such grief.
