>>Ascend, a maker of telecommunication gear for Internet service providers and online services, also said it expects revenue growth of about 10 percent sequentially from quarter to quarter for the next few quarters.
''We feel good about our long-term prospects, but we're going to see several quarters where growth will be 10 percent quarter or quarter, a little more or little less,'' Bernie Schneider, Ascend treasurer, told investors at the American Electronics Association conference in San Diego.<<

Growth of about 10 percent sequentially from quarter to quarter is something many companies would kill for. I don't really see anything wrong here!

Gary:

I couldn't agree with you more, especially if we see the officers' option repriced. . .

<<<We wouldn't mind restrained growth in the stock price until the aquisition is announced.>>>

Gary,

You seem so confident about this buyout scenario. Aside from the battered share price why do you feel so strongly that a buyout is imminent? Particularly in the short-term. Despite what I posted yesterday (ASND should stay independent), I'm so pissed after todays action that I would welcome such an event with open arms. I'd love to hear that its more than wishful thinking (or delusions caused by rapid equity decrease and margin calls...lol).

Regards,

Larry
