Nielsens: 'Monk' finale draws 9.4 million viewers By Gary Levin, USA TODAY •Record books. Friday's series finale of USA's Monk was compulsive viewing for 9.4 million, eclipsing TNT's The Closer to rank as the top drama telecast in basic-cable history. Companion White Collar rose to a series-high 5.5 million. The second-season finale of FX's Sons of Anarchy scored a series-high 4.3 million Tuesday, while Monday's season opener of A&E's Hoarders notched a series-high 3.2 million. Dexter drew 2.1 million Sunday, Showtime's biggest crowd since 1999. ooops, just realized that's old news. nevermind.
