I believe God created everything as well, but I also believe in science and that it is not incompatible with religion. Unlike you, the GOP, and the Evangelicals, I don't turn my mind off and dismiss science, which tells us that the earth is older than 10,000 years and that evolution is measurable and real and continues to happen today at an astounding pace. God gave us brains to think and to reason. Turning your mind off and blindly believing what some ignorant Evangelicals preach is a sin in my book. Faith in God, reason, common sense, science. These are the credos I live by. None of them are incompatible, despite what the Evangelicals claim.
