The PPT exists.
Has it propped up the market for 6 months?
No.
There is no proof of it, and it has been alleged for a decade at least.

If the PPT could prop up the market it never would have fallen to 666 on the S&P in the first place unless of course you believe there was a massive conspiracy to take it down to 666 then back up again to consolidate power in JPMorgan and Gokldman Sachs.

Here's the deal:

If this was going on, there would be someone somewhere who could make millions by stepping up and writing a book about it. Someone would know something and have proof.

Geithner and Paulson could not keep a very sensitive conspiracy quiet yet everyone believes a PPT conspiracy can be kept secret for 10 years and a gold conspiracy alive for 30 years.

It's preposterous.
