From what I'm hearing out of Massachusetts, I don't think (knock wood!) that the Dems can drag Coakley over the line this time. Her campaign has gone from entitled to panicked to gaffe-a-day. She called Curt Schilling a Yankees fan yesterday! What a maroon! Intrade has Scott Brown at 52.7.

But as to what comes of it long term, who can say? Clinton was benefitted in the end by losing Congress in 1994. But Clinton had the political skills to triangulate. I don't think Obama does.

But, oh, the schadenfreude if Scott Brown wins on Tuesday! And doubly so if he wins big!

(Obama) will always remain associated with the people he has associated with and supported...

I fear a big majority are unaware, wouldn't understand the implications if they knew.

Somethin' funny goin' on and I don't understand. Too many are conditioned to ignore news or analysis that conflicts with their programmed vision. Can't "hear" anything from the dreaded right wing, y'know.
