I am aware of that. But most of the proposals don't use plywood. One that is very interesting uses hexacomb cardboard with durable facings.


I looked at the list of possible materials....most looked like they needed to be imported. I don't know about hexacomb cardboard.....I am assuming its fairly strong.....but plain ole cardboard would have to be imported at least in part so I figure the same would be true for hexacomb.

What worries me is that I suspect nearly a third of the country or 3+ million people will need to be rehoused. Three million would be a daunting figure even in the US....for Haiti, its close to a death sentence.
