One nice thing about the hexacomb is that it can be shipped compressed. And enough to build about 1800 hexayurts can fit in a standard 40' shipping container.

We need to think out of the box, here. Even a wealthy country that has a third or more of its population displaced is going to be in serious trouble. For one of the poorest countries in the world, it is a disaster.


You're absolutely right. And your comments about the gov't are apropo as well. From what I have read, the current gov't was better than most although not great and that Haiti was starting to see improvements and growth in its economy. Of course, the quake has brought a quick end to that.
