Storage will be solved in the next 10 years. Maybe even faster if sales of electric cars take off.

I remember when I bought my first kit computer and my friends and many others believed they'd never be anything more than a toy. I knew that eventually everyone would have a computer and that they would find all sorts of amazing ways to use them. That's why I wanted one. I wanted to figure them out. The problem with the skeptics at the time was that they couldn't imagine what they would be used for, because all of the great software had not been created yet and was not even possible because the processor speed of those kit computers was so slow. The thing they forgot is that technological progression always can be counted on. It's a fact of the human race.

All the skeptics will now say that electric cars will never amount to anything because of the storage. However, I've seen enough in my lifetime already to know that this is truly a space where if they build it, the consumers will show up and the technology will eventually catch up with and surpass ICE vehicles. It's inevitable, because technological progress will always have its way.
