The US case and long time acquaintance from Fresno who got in touch:

I asked him about US post-sub-prime crisis and if he still was Frenso-based. Here his reply.
QUOTE:
Yes, I still have based in Fresno. The U.S. will continue, but BUSH-IT was able to convince Congress to end the 230 years of an organizational model that worked. What I saw is that - if the world wars I and II - the U.S. economy took a leap in development, because those who paid the bill were not the tax payers of the U.S. but the Europeans. These last, two recent wars it is the people of the United States paying out for everything - that is, concentrated income of the population into the industry that produces and work to kill people.

Broke the country, because it broke the economy at the atomic level. The Obama adninistration will have much work to make the machine turn round again. I benefitted from the package of Obama. Had a debt of some USD 200K and the bank account closed. I declared bankruptcy, the bank was smart and put my debt into the package of government. I had the debt forgiven, but that entered as income in my company, I have to pay income tax, something I do every three months. Like my case, there are millions millions of similar cases out there.
