I'm only superficially aware of steroid potential problems. Given that, I'm due for my annual physical, at age 73, in a few weeks. One of the goals of that event is to review the 4 prescriptions I take.

1. Flomax... problems with very slow urination
2. Diazide (generic) for blood pressure control
3. Losinipril also for BP control
4. Advair... a daily inhalation for asthma prevention

My BP is very controlled, but I can't seem to get off the Rx.

I would be in real trouble without Flomax.

I know Advair is a steroid, but it's kept me asthma free for some 5 years, after many ER visits and hospital stays. I want to know if there might be an acceptable alternative to any of this stuff.
