I was to marking them as idiots. And they had to acknowledge it and once acknowledging that, they could deal with it.

See what we have now: They are still idiots and we are not helping them out of that situation.

They are right here thinking they are normal.

This is the sad situation of participatory democracy. Pretending that people are equal when they are not.

SI is great. We get to see why Brazil and China can never be great other than as second-rate places.

Of course, if other places continue to take themselves down, its easy to be great in the same way that second rate golfers now have a chance to be great and when Bobby Fisher and Cassius Clay were booted out other second-raters could claim to be great [albeit in a pathetic kind of way]. When Roger Federer got sick, he started losing too - but that didn't mean the others were winning and were great.

ElM reflects Brazilian culture. He and TJ think that shooting people in the back who wont hand over the goods is a good thing and serves them right for failing to obey.

The thread IMHO is now functioning better, and there is no law.
Of course because it is not 3D but cyberspace.. There are only words.. no bullets... The group here appears willing to accept the noise which may appear in order to maintain full freedom...

OTOH.. it is truly a sad commentary on the human species (and our elevated opinion of ourselves) that we require any government (not the same as cooperation) at all.. Even democracy rarely really works well for long.. it is (as Churchill stated) simply the least repugnant form although personally I have my doubts at times :O) Likely because Mq is quite mostly correct on his chimpoid views.. too bad he goes off track with his Victorian Principles theme :O)
