Does it now? Wasn't that when Israel and JORDAN were still at war in 1967?

How can a nation be an "occupying power" when a peace treaty has been arrived at and the territory that was "occupied" has been disavowed by the former combatant?

But even were we to consider the West Bank and Gaza as "occupied", considering that Hamas, the political representative of the Palestinian people, has declared a perpetual war against Israel, the Israelis are totally justified in occupying that territory.

Thus, you also have to accept that the US has declared Hamas to be a terrorist organization, and it accepts that a state of war still exists between the Hamas led government and Israel. So that's ANOTHER AMERICAN POSITION..

The governments of Canada,[5] the European Union,[6][7][8] Israel,[9] Japan,[10] Australia,[11] and the United States[12]
classify Hamas as a terrorist organization.

Why don't you accept that?

And when countries are at war, what they do is occupy the territory of their enemy. Been doing that for thousands of years and nothing the UNSC says will make it different... ;p

However, did they not relinquish complete control over Gaza? There are no Israelis living in the Gaza strip, only "Palestinians". Thus, Gaza is not occupied. But they are at war with Israel, with a tenuous "cease-fire" being the only thing that prevents outright conflict.

You again take the Israeli position and not the American position. I wonder why????
He is an Israeli stooge, he is the enemy within.
