yes, the profs of the world spend a fair amount of time discussing how those amongst the dreary class, plugging along at the dreary jobs, feel about things... odd thing is, the profs of the world seldom descend from their rarified air upon thier mountains to actually ask those among the dreary class, so they can but speculate. when was the last time someone who pays for a taxi-ride talked to the driver? when was the last time someone whose business is cleaned by a janitor talked to the janitor? yet all this speculation about what the driver and cleaner 'think' and 'feel'. and how many people on S.I. do not have health insurance? so the question of coverage is moot, really. that is why I say just drop it. clearly America overall really does not want universal coverage. so forget it. can't miss what you never had. that is janitor speak.
