sadly, I think I agree with you... cause it is that all must buy it, but is it any good?

I'm 51 and have managed just fine, thanks. yes, if I had healthcare, I would have had neck surgery and then not have the nerve damage I have, however... I exercise my left hand about every day, and have figured many adaptions. the only thing that really gets to me is I can't hammer well... I am left-handed and though bi-handed in ways, I can't hammer with the right hand. but that is a small annoyance. I work hard to keep my left side going. and is it worth it to me to be forced to buy in to a bad program that probly wouldn't cover my surgery anyways, and besides the never damage is long done... nah.

so maybe we should all say ... thanks but no thanks. it looked pretty under the christmas tree, but unless you dress it up real good for an easter egg hunt... ferget it.

seriously, Scott... the bill is not supposed to hurt the uninsured, but it is also not supposed to hurt the already insured. that really is just not the idea.

as to prevention - when I hear they will take corn syrup out of our food, I will buy into it. otherwise, I think it is bull. people with healthcare find out if they have genetic issues with blood preasure or heart illness. prevention is a lot taking on the food industry. but people get sick and people die. always have and always will.

and I have no idea about those buncha tests people talk about. they do extra tests? the uninsured have no idea about that. anther reason just to drop the whole idea of covering us. y'all can deal with the extra tests on your own. we don't get any tests. mammagram at 40 or 50? not until 65 when medicare kicks in for the uninsured.

seriously... y'all work it out. I do not want to be involved in people figuring this out. I've never cost other Americans a single dollar. ever. nor have most uninsured. y'all go for it. I hope it goes well.
