History? To what were your referring, specifically?

Monopolies? Of what, by whom, when, and what effects?

Most liberals don't believe in markets. It seems your comments reflect this assumption. What specific regulations make markets work? What specific outcomes are not met by the operation of free markets--with respect to energy?

Your position isn't just veiled ideology, it reflects shallow understanding of economics.
