SP500/gold ratio is a good indicator for the economy, but
not a good indicator for the direction of SP500 in dollar
terms.

SP500 in gold terms did NOT have a cyclical bull market
in 2002-2007, except a brief period of flatness in 2003-2005; it
just keeps going down since year 2000.

This is the DOW, in gold, but SP500 is actually quite similar.
Thus, the DOW actually DECLINED in gold terms during the
cyclical "bull market" of 2002-2007!

This move from March lows also does not look like much -g-
