Election...>> Rahm Emmanuel and Larry Summers already are BIG Centrists...they are running Obama's organization...the biggest myth is that Obama is a hard core liberal...Look at what has happened in the first year of this new presidency...massive support for the big banks...no new taxes...no major new energy bill...a very watered down healthcare bill (that is pro-big pharma and largely set up to benefit the free market health insurance companies). Obama is NOT a progressive...and Obama is already a Centrist who has bent over backwards to reach out to moderate Republicans and work with them....Not sure what Mr. Lieberman has been drinking...Most of Obama's base is far to the left of where the President really is....Obama is a total Centrist -- just like Clinton was...No doubt about it...Some in the media portray Obama as a serious Liberal but he isn't (even Obama's first pick for the Supreme Court was a well qualified moderate -- just what you'd expect from a Centrist President).
