Portrait of a stock breaking out, not down.

CREE:
quote.yahoo.com

unlike most of the stocks in tech sector, CREE has not had any correction, pullback, readjustment, etc... since last year.

it spent a year basing in the 10 to $15 range, completed an uptrend triangle pattern by breaking above $20 resistence, pulled back to that point recently and is propelling off that $20 support toward $30 & beyond. Each of these technical events were very predictable, and that's what I like about this stock. It's very well behaved.

Support is at 24-25.
Resistence at $30 based on it's all-time high price.

Momentum is accellerating.

Andrew, the best of luck to you in your new endevor.

*AV* So far the ATMID and CFMT have been sold off for more than a 5% gain with confirmation on QQYCF @ 6.375 still pending. ATMID and CFMT have been replaced with PLAB (44) and CYMI (23.5) for tomorrow and MFQAP will replace QQYCF if trade clears.

PLAB in today @ open
CYMI in at 22.75
AMAT out today with good profit
ASYT out today with good profit
WDC still holding
BYDS still holding
NLQCI still holding
MFQAP in and out at a great profit.
KCQCK out with a stupendous profit.

Tomorrow we buy INTC and DPMI to replace column "A" shares. Now it didn't take long to depart from my list since the 2 options will be replaced by 2 of the following: DY(long) DYLX(DY) or CQGBX(CYMI). So much for the stake in the "ground menu system"<GGG> Therefore, I guess I have to add these guys to the list. None have been dropped, though.

The $54K porfolio is still intact with one exception, the 5 ASYT Calls were sold today at 8.25 for the first 100% Gain and will be replaced with 100 shares of DY and 5 CQGEF contracts with the proceeds.

I will try to keep up on these transactions as was requested by some individuals by email. I will try to put it on the Stock Swap List thread.

Day 2 looks real good but I will have to add a few bucks to the day trade bucket for tommorow since INTC is real pricey.
