If I were the Dems, I would do, as I have said. Pass the healthcare bill. And move on.

That would be the Senate version of the Health Care bill; the one with the Cadillac tax that applies equally to all people. Not the hideous compromise that Obama endorsed where unionized workers and government employees down have to pay the 40% excise tax.

I seem to remember that you were complaining that this Cadillac tax was actually going to hit your wife's plan. But I'd bet that the union/collective bargaining loophole was going to get you off the hook for having to help play for this new government program.
