My father is a lifelong Republican who actually took a risk and voted for Obama...but my father told me the other night that the President clearly needs a new Chief of Staff and some better advisors...I hope our president realizes that it may be time to course correct...For Obama to hold onto many of the Independents and Crossover voters he needs to be much more focussed on the economy and creating jobs...and getting bogged down in a costly war over in Afghanistan will lose a president the support of lots of voters - no doubt about it. It's time for Obama to PRIORITIZE and refocus or his Democratic party could be in for some unpleasant surprises in 2010 and again in 2012.

The State of Union is next week.....he's got a week to figure it out and give what new directions he wants to take the nation. I think your father is right. David Axlerod may have been great during the campaign but he doesn't seem to have made the transition to the WH very well. And then there was the exchange today between the WH and Coakley's campaign. Bad enough one of Coakley's advisor opened fire before the polls had closed today but then the WH responded in like kind. Coakley better plan on retiring when her term as AG is up.

As for me, I fed up with politics. This country is falling apart and things do not seem to get any better.
