The great Dem pullback is starting already.

Sen. Jim Webb puts out a statement that puts the notion of a quick Senate vote out of reach and pretty much makes a certification fight moot:

"In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process. It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated."

And good luck getting Lieberman to vote for cloture this week, anyway.

Here's another good whine. Looks like she's having trouble chocking this announcement down. It was bad enough when Vermont voted down gay marriage a few months ago. Now this....Poor Rachel Maddox...

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Announces Scott Brown Wins "Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat" - Video 1/19/10

Here is video of MSNBC's Rachel Maddow announcing the news that Scott Brown has won the Massachusetts Senate Race. Maddow appears stunned as she says that America must "try to absorb the news that Democrats have lost Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat."

Oh, there are lots of whine's out there in the "LibLand", including the one below. Again, if the Dems including Obama decide to go the way this article suggests, there really will be a serious backlast, IMO!!

I've never driven a truck, and many of us haven't .... To show support for some of the old fashioned ideals that Scott Brown espoused, I could learn.

Better yet, maybe some enterprising start up company, could sell miniature well done replicas of the Ford or GM pickups...with some of the profit going to our Military families.
