Maybe Obama should bring in advisors like David Gergen (who has advised presidents from both parties), Bill Moyers, and Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz. Frankly, I think governing this country has become nearly impossible. Everyone is an ideologue and compromise has gone out the window. Everyone wants it their way or none at all. CA has become the model for the country. Within the Dem. party alone, the views are significantly disparate.....they run the gamut from liberal to conservative. And then you have a candidate like Coakley...who ain't stupid but who runs the worst compaign imaginable. I want to ask her what the hell she was thinking. She hurt herself, the state Dems, the national Dems and the WH. She will go down in infamy. As you can tell, I am feeling a great deal of frustration.
