There is just no way they can put a positive spin on this, and I don't care how brutally they attack the loser.

MSNBC has been a joy to watch tonight. The Snarky Maddow is just in denial; she can't believe it.

She lost by 4+ points. Hardly a repudiation of anything.

That would be true if the race was in Florida or Ohio. But in MA, it is a swing of 31% from D to R.


First of all, she wasn't the incumbent so it wasn't a swing of anything. Secondly she ran a horrific campaign.....probably one of the worst campaigns I've seen in a long time.

Nonetheless, it is MA and Obama and the Dems need to take notice.

Obama won Mass. by 26%.

When McGovern ran against Nixon he won Washington DC and Massachusetts...that's it. ONE state and the capital. Mass is the most liberal state.
