But that, alone, is insufficient to overcome the extreme liberal bias in MA, combined with the Kennedy name, Obama's political weight, Clinton campaigning for her, etc. The people of Mass. have seen government health care up close and personal and they don't want anymore of it. This was the most important single issue in the campaign, with Coakley's Obama-esque stance on terrorism/EIT. He won it on the issues, although the guy has great charisma and personality.
