Her campaign wasn't just about mistakes. She didn't have a campaign. And you would have known that if you had read anything about her campaign which you did not. Had she run an average to good campaign she would have won today.

Having said that, it IS MA....and I have said before and I say again to you.....Obama and the national Dems need to pay attention.

I'm sure we've read the same things. And she did make mistakes. And Brown was at the top of his game. No doubt about it.

But that, alone, is insufficient to overcome the extreme liberal bias in MA, combined with the Kennedy name, Obama's political weight, Clinton campaigning for her, etc.

The people of Mass. have seen government health care up close and personal and they don't want anymore of it. This was the most important single issue in the campaign, with Coakley's Obama-esque stance on terrorism/EIT. He won it on the issues, although the guy has great charisma and personality.
