All in all positive but I need to determine the effectiveness of the strontium I'm taking.. It's not cheap.

Nice though to be adding bone density @ 53 without drugs ... and not wasting away :O)

Oh and doc said ... I've never heard anyone taking 8K IU of D3.. and she prescribes it liberally up to say 2-3K for osteoporosis.. I told her all my results though including BP and cholesterol reduction.. Well she can't argue with success :O)

I am glad to hear that you are doing so well without prescription drugs and Ca supplements.

I am not familiar with brands and doses of Strontium, but, apparently, it is available only by prescription in Europe, but available over the counter in the US. I am not familiar with situation in Canada.

You may want to try to "extract" a vitamin D3 test out of your doc on your next visit, just to quantify where you are, but 8k of D3 is not an unheard of dose, especially in Canada, where you don't get much D3 from sun...
