You're right, Obama is fairly well treed on the KSM trial thing. But as Prez, he has an out - he can always alter it by executive order and claim it's due to some new secret national security reason.

economy and health care aside, our nation's security is more important.

If this Constitutional-lawyer-president would take the time to read the Constitution, he might discover that his Number One job definition is defending this country, that indeed our nation's security should be his Number One priority.

It doesn't say anything in his job description that he is responsible for health care.

As somebody who used to have to give reviews to employees, every once in awhile there would be someone who would step outside the ropes trying to impress and forget what it was s/he were hired to do. Or s/he would take on a task to acquire more visibility - again neglecting what the job description called for.

Since he is working for us - all of us - he would be issued a warning and reminded about what he was hired to do. He would be written up and given a list of tasks that he should be paying attention to. Should he continue to pursue his pet projects and neglect what he was clearly hired to do. He would be let go - with cause - insubordination.
