Webb knows the direction the political winds are blowing.

His Virginia constituents do not hesitate to let him know what they think.

The direction of the political winds is to the true Center and not to the extreme left of the titular President Obama.

Yes, Obama got elected in Virginia but only because of the coat tails of such people as Senator James Webb and Senator Mark Warner and a few political figures in Virginia including the sitting Governor Tim Kaine who did the early endorsement for Obama.

There is little doubt that these men are now looking at the Democrat Party in Virginia and wondering how they will survive the next election------------the only way for them will be to work with Republicans and not for Obama and the left.
