I continue to be amazed at people who just now realize Obama was a mistake. All the evidence was there to know what was coming.

No executive experience.

A life experience and history of being far left.

An opportunist of the highest order - Rev Wright.

Everything - everything - was there to see what was coming. But oh - the beautiful words - that made lies believable.

Shame on the fools who believed that crap and now are surprised. Shame Shame Shame

Best news I've seen in a year. He's kevelling. Yiddish for those who don't know. love it. Next thing he'll rend his clothes and smear ash on his body.

He’s improved America’s image in the world. He absolutely did. But you have to translate that into something. Let me tell you what a major leader said to me recently. “We are convinced,” he said, “that he is not strong enough to confront his enemy. We are concerned,” he said “that he is not strong to support his friends.”

The political leadership of the world is very, very dismayed. He better turn it around. The Democrats are going to get killed in this election. Jesus, looks what’s happening in Massachusetts.

It’s really interesting because he had brilliant, brilliant political instincts during the campaign. I don’t know what has happened to them. His appointments present somebody who has a lot to learn about how government works. He better get some very talented businesspeople who know how to implement things. It’s unbelievable. Everybody says so. You can’t believe how dismayed people are. That’s why he’s plunging in the polls.

Morty: Obama did not improve our image in the world if our friends and enemies regard him as weak and unlikely to withstand a test. You're whistling in the dark.

You were blinded by bullsh*t *brilliance* during the campaign.
BHO, the empty vessel, just said what was needed at every venue. With the widespread media malpractice and failure to vet, you folks filled up yourselves with the projection of a perfect Obama.

What you got was what those of us who were paying attention knew we were getting: an inexperienced idealogue, who prefers to vote "present", with an extraordinarily enlarged ego and the lack of smarts to get advisors who could really help him govern, plus a commitment to a political agenda that failed elsewhere and was wrong for this country.

I'm glad that you recognize a problem, Morty, but why did it take so long?

One business leader said to me, “In the Clinton administration, the policy people were at the center, and the political people were on the sideline. In the Obama administration, the political people are at the center, and the policy people are on the sidelines.”

Say what? Clinton was absolutely criticized for being too political - esp. before the 1994 elections. I think that he's just looking relatively unpolitical in retrospect because Obama took Clinton's worst instincts and raised them to the next level.
