I agree term limits are a must. It would solve the problem of new members of congress being almost immediately tainted by 'politics as usual' upon arrival in WashDC. How do voters accomplish the task of instituting term limits? When asked, American voters usually state (with blinders on) their member of congress is the exception to the rule, but everyone else's is corrupt. It's a direct result of every member hauling home pork in order to blatantly buy votes and thereby win re-election.
