not 1 in 10 american diabetics will change their diet to the mediterranean diet in spite of a study that showed an 83% reduction in the incidence of diabetes - and that 83% reduction was a high risk group compared to a low risk group.

second, no other nation spends as much on the military security complex as america so it is an apples to oranges comparison.

Americans on the average are slothful and fat. This is unhealthy and reflects in the lessened life span compared to more healthier nations. Even the best healthcare will not beat this situation. There's no pill for laziness...
