So am I! Even the Peoples Republic of Mass has its breaking limit toward socialism.

Though I don't believe in government mandated or controlled healthcare, I think that Massachusetts puts it in the right place. That being the purview of the state, not the federal government.

I understand the feeling. Though I grew up there and my family is still well entrenched there - I generally try to leave that little bit out of my "bio". Of course that's easier said than done once I open my mouth! (No amount of time away purges the accent!)

But when my MA roots are discovered I try to stress that it was a close call - because I did get my graduate degree in Cambridge - but I LEFT the area before the indoctrination had a chance to "stick". And I won't be back until it's time to dig my hole - and that's cuz' my "spot" is already there. <g>

Thankfully I got to see the election results and Brown's speech. But, just as I was enjoying a little post victory channel-surfing, we lost power from the earlier snow pulling down a power line. Probably a good thing though .. last person I saw was Rachael Maddow talking about how we particularly vulnerable, single women vote. Was hunting for my brickbat when the power went out! Divine intervention perhaps?

And on another note ..

In New Hampshire, the partying started early

(Manchester, NH) The beer at Murphy's Taproom didn't provide the elation last night.

Rather, the come-from-behind victory of Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown had conservatives and Republicans cheering, pumping their fists and slapping backs over his mounting tallies on the club's oversized television screens.

"We're all fired up and ready," said Pete Galamaga, a high school English teacher in Goffstown. "I had to come here and see this and be a part of it."

...Last night's event at Murphy's was co-organized by the New Hampshire 912 Project and Frank Guinta, a Republican seeking the First New Hampshire congressional seat. The event drew about 75 people, but not Guinta, who suffered from a stomach ailment, aides said.

A hand-lettered "Scott Brown for Senate" sign was pinned beside the TV screen. Whenever a newscast featured Brown, a few people hollered and cheered. At other times, patrons broke into chants of "Go, Scott Go."

I'm #58

When Hussein said he had been to 57 states he said he had more states to visit.

Y'all know that Islam territory is divided into 57 regions.

Regardless, the Bamster is still a muslim
