Scott Brown's Best Line

When it comes to terrorists, "our tax dollars should be used for weapons to get them, not lawyers to defend them." (I'm quoting from memory.)

Mass. Did Not Elect a Squish

From Brown’s victory speech:

<<< “And let me say this, with respect to those who wish to harm us: I believe that our Constitution and laws exist to protect this nation. They do not grant rights and privileges to enemies in wartime. In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them.” >>>

Isn’t that the sort of right-wing talk that is supposed to be poison in our politics now? I wonder whether Americans in general realize how conservative Scott Brown is -- how conservative a campaign he ran. I wonder if they realize the same about the new governor of New Jersey, Christie.

Who ain’t no nude model, by the way!
