Considering that we BOUGHT Alaska from the Russian government fair and square, then yes, it would be an act of war if they invaded and occupied it.

And the Jews, for the most part, purchased their land from Arabs and the British administrators. But now the Palestinian Arabs want all of it back, which would correlate with your Alaska analogy.

And there certainly was land the Israelis occupied after the Arab war of annihilation they waged against Israel in 1948. But it was GRANTED to Israel in the 1949 UN Armistice so they could have defensible borders:

So the Palestinian Arabs should be wondering what kind of territorial concessions they will be forced to make once they get done waging their "forever war".

Because there war isn't getting them anywhere as it stands now.
